PROYECTO ETWINNING 4º PRIMARIA
eTwinning es una plataforma que fomenta el contacto y la colaboración entre colegios de Europa. Esto se hace mediante la utilización de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, y través de la plataforma de eTwinning los alumnos y profesores de los colegios que participan en el programa pueden unirse a otros colegios en proyectos sobre el tema que más les interese.
En el caso de 4º de Primaria, el proyecto en el que estamos colaborando se llama “Nature around us”. Como su propio nombre indica, este proyecto trata de mostrar a otros colegios de Europa la naturaleza que rodea a nuestros alumnos en la Comunidad de Madrid, el clima, plantas, árboles, animales, etc.
Participando en este proyecto, nuestros alumnos no sólo obtienen información sobre otros ecosistemas del mundo, sino que abren su mente hacia otras culturas».
Así mismo, nuestros alumnos de 4º han podido comprobar cómo es el medio natural de regiones situadas en Rumanía, Turquía o Italia, y desde el Colegio Alkor les mostramos como es nuestro paisaje durante las diferentes estaciones, la fauna de los alrededores y también la flora.
Pero no es esa la única información que recibimos de nuestros compañeros europeos: también hemos visto cómo son, sabemos cómo se llaman, hemos visto su aspecto, su colegio y su patio y lugar de juegos. Nosotros también les hemos enseñado nuestro colegio: desde el comedor hasta la sala de informática, pasando por las profesoras de inglés.
Participando en este proyecto, nuestros alumnos no sólo obtienen información sobre otros ecosistemas del mundo sino que abren su mente hacia otras culturas a la vez que se despierta su interés por el idioma inglés y la multiculturalidad.
ETWINNING PROJECT 4º PRIMARIA
eTwinning is a platform that encourages contact and collaboration between European schools. This can be achieved by using information and communication technologies, and with the eTwinning platform, pupils and teachers can join other schools on different projects, depending on the topic they are interested in.
In our case, the 4th primary classes are participating in a project named Nature around us. As its name indicates, this project’s aim is to show the nature that surrounds us to other schools throughout Europe. This includes the weather, plants, trees, animals, etc.
By joining this project, our pupils not only obtain information about the environment worldwide, but also they become more open-minded».
Likewise, our pupils have seen what the environment is like in other European regions such as Romania, Turkey or Italy. We have shown them how the sights change in different seasons, as well as the fauna and the different plants that we can find in the Community of Madrid.
But that is not the only information we have received from our European partners: we have seen how they are, how they look like, we know their names and we also have seen their schools and where they play during the break. From Alkor School, we have shown them our school: from the canteen to the computer lab, and we have introduced them to our English teachers also.
By joining this project, our pupils not only obtain information about the environment worldwide, but also they become more open-minded and interested in the English language and multiculturalism.
