On 14th of February we celebrate St. Valentine’s Day. Before Monday, we talked to the children about this special day. We told them that this day is special because it is “the day of the love”.

For this reason, on St. Valentine’s Day they must share the love with their schoolmates, teachers and relatives, by kissing and giving them lots of hugs.

We also do activities related to St. Valentine’s Day, as we do with the other special days celebrated at Alkor. All the activities that we prepare for these days are displayed in the hall of our Kindergarten for everyone to see.

The teachers at Alkor School have a wonderful chant that we remember when we have an unpleasant day. We want to share it with all of you:

“Because love should be the strength that moves us when teaching our students. And because sharing keeps us moving to reach them...”
