On Tuesday,09 May –2006: “EUROPE DAY”.

Under the patronage of the Italian Representation of the European Commission, organize :”Europe Day”.

Programme: Dialogue with the world: Sustainable Development, Education to the Future, Technologies for Peace.

In this important meeting ,there were important European personalities amongst others:

• Noemi Lusi: Italian Spring Day Pedagogical Advisor.
• Gianni Puglisi: Unesco.
• Michele Faberi: World Health Organization.
• Alessandro Musumeci: General Director: MIUR.
• Giovanni Scancarello: ENIS.
• Massimo Gaudina: European Comisión.
  • ENIS: European Network of Innovate Schools.
  • UNESCO: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Activity :A videoconference: “Dialogue with the World”.

On Tuesday, May 9th –2006: Alkor School ,at 13’15h.Primary and Secondary pupils were able to participate in the Italian Videoconference with two questions:

1. Primary School question: In Europe, every child hasn´t the same opportunities nor the same Education as “Using the new technologies”.What can we do to have the same Educational opportunities and to use the new technologies to know and share them better and like final aim to use them in favour of peace?.

2.Secundary School question: Social Globalisation: Advantages and Disadvantages.

Our Questions were answered by Mr. Musumeci (MIUR) and Mr. Gaudina(Schools Net European Commission). We were waiting from 8’30 am to 13’15 pm .Finally, we did the videoconference and we´re very happy to participate in this important event. HAPPY EUROPE DAY From ALKOR SCHOOL.
